A Commentary on the Need for the “Relational” in EMDR Training and Practice Part I

Relational EMDRThis is a commentary on EMDR based on my observations from clinical practice that adds the relational perspective to Francine Shapiro’s standard methodology. During the last 19 years I have conducted thousands of EMDR sessions. The patterns of response I have seen in my clients and the latest discoveries in the neurosciences, which support my conviction in the relational imperative, have prompted me to write this commentary.
